En una sociedad basada en la meritocracia, estamos obsesionados con conseguir rendimiento, creatividad e iniciativa para destacar entre la multitud… \u00bfNos hemos vuelto tan escler\u00f3ticos como consecuencia de estas viejas normas educativas (\u00a1s\u00e9 perfecto! \u00a1Ten cuidado! \u00bfEst\u00e1s seguro? Est\u00e1s ladrando al \u00e1rbol equivocado!) que no podemos ver el coste de esta confusi\u00f3n entre error y falta en nuestros equipos\/empleados? <\/strong><\/p>\n

No es de extra\u00f1ar que nuestra relaci\u00f3n con los errores sea una fuente de miedo, estr\u00e9s y falta de responsabilidad en nuestras empresas. Comprender un error, y aprender de \u00e9l, significa descubrir los mecanismos que subyacen a la decisi\u00f3n y su evaluaci\u00f3n a lo largo del tiempo. <\/p>\n

\u201cUna persona que nunca ha cometido un error nunca ha intentado innovar\u201d - Albert Einstein <\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo convertir el fracaso en oportunidad? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 el fracaso es la base del \u00e9xito? \u00bfC\u00f3mo puede aumentar el bienestar y la longevidad tener \u00e9xito en los proyectos de cambio (y, por tanto, arriesgarse a fracasar por el camino)? <\/p>\n

La energ\u00eda que se gasta ocultando los errores se desperdicia<\/strong><\/h2>\n

En general, el error tiene mala reputaci\u00f3n en el trabajo (\u00a1y en otros lugares!). Se asocia a la incompetencia y a las consecuencias que puede generar. Como consecuencia, los empleados dedican m\u00e1s energ\u00eda a encubrir los errores, hasta el punto de negarlos, que a emplear el tiempo en aplicar una soluci\u00f3n positiva y seguir adelante. Este sentido narcisista de la perfecci\u00f3n y del \u201cno tengo derecho a equivocarme\u201d no es sano ni maduro en una empresa, ni en ning\u00fan otro lugar. Al fin y al cabo, si Crist\u00f3bal Col\u00f3n no se hubiera equivocado en sus c\u00e1lculos, nunca habr\u00eda descubierto Am\u00e9rica. <\/p>\n

Diferenciar entre error, fallo y aver\u00eda <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Emprender una gesti\u00f3n positiva de los errores significa, en primer lugar, distinguir entre los conceptos de error, fallo y defecto:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Los errores no son intencionados, sino que pueden ser el resultado de la falta de atenci\u00f3n o de la incapacidad. Pueden ser de origen humano o el resultado de un proceso mal definido. <\/li>\n
  • El fracaso es la consecuencia de un objetivo no alcanzado. Fracasamos cuando no conseguimos cumplir un compromiso, un objetivo o una ambici\u00f3n. <\/li>\n
  • Los errores y fallos rara vez son premeditados, a diferencia de los errores, que son transgresiones conscientes y deliberadas de las normas vigentes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \u00bfEs el derecho a cometer errores una herramienta de gesti\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Si quieres dirigir eficazmente a tu equipo, debes fomentar y explotar el derecho a cometer errores:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Una colaboraci\u00f3n m\u00e1s sana y honesta entre t\u00fa y tus equipos.<\/li>\n
    • Menos estr\u00e9s y actitudes defensivas entre tu personal.<\/li>\n
    • Tus comentarios y consejos correctivos ser\u00e1n mejor comprendidos y tenidos en cuenta.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Aceptar los errores es un requisito previo para una gesti\u00f3n eficaz:<\/p>\n

      • Organiza los \u201cGlop\/Oups de la semana\u201d: haz que tus equipos reaccionen y reflexionen sobre una buena noticia o una lecci\u00f3n constructiva aprendida durante un seminario tras un error.<\/li>\n
      • Expresa tu apertura y apoyo al derecho a equivocarse para rendir (distinguiendo entre equivocaciones y errores).<\/li>\n
